Hectic

Self-portrait
It's been a hard and busy week, we've been in the office until 10pm most nights. The curators are still farting about, but we just have to deal with this. One expects clients to be indecisive. What one doesn't expect, is one's boss and colleague to be unable to make time to look at the damned drawings. Ageing Yuppie is playing I'm so important again, he comes and goes in a flurry of phone calls and cigarette smoke, interrupting everything and making clever suggestions for things that will be important in a month's time if ever but which have nothing at all to do with our immediate task and deadline. He and three others were in the office yesterday evening for a meeting, and the noise and stress levels rose sky-high. It was so nice when they left!

I had planned to return to Stuttgart this weekend, i.e. this evening, but will stay on for work and possible amusement. There has been no biting of arses, sorry to say, but the job's not over yet.

Weather alternates between 30° and sunny (Wednesday) and 20° and rainy (today).

Sorry that there has been so little blogging lately, it's hard to write in an open-plan office and under such pressure of work/time. Saturday will bring a little relaxation, a change of address, and hopefully some blogging and blogreading.

In lieu of a Friday Favourite, here's an amusing and apt Dilbert.

Well, you're looking very well on it (can't see you teeth, though)!

Hmmm, I'm still hoping for the bite marks. Good luck.

Jean: the next photo will feature teeth, I promise.

Lioness: it's actually a cotton sweater, it was so damned cold here the other day that I left the office to buy the first-best-thing that I could find. And no, it isn't tucked in.

May: thanks, perhaps I will. The photo size & angle were due to the limits of the mini-camera built into the upper frame of the MacBook's monitor: one can change the angle but not the height.

Joe: I too hope to acquire (or give) some interesting war wounds :-)
