Awake

There seems to be a correlation between consuming sugar (chocolates and/or biscuits) before bedtime, and waking after two or three hours of sleep. At this point in time the evidence is anecdotal and circumstantial, but there does seem to be an awful lot of it when I think back.

Just looked out the kitchen window, the blue moonlight on the snow is quite lovely. Life is grand, even at 4 in the morning.

Not to mention the xanthine in chocolate. Complex carbs might be better for sleep.

Ah, attitude truly makes a difference. How lovely to enjoy the moonlight on the snow. Sugar right before bed doesn't sound like a recipe for good sleep........ unless, of course, it's in hot chocolate! I think the warm milk helps diffuse the chocolate effect. :~)

you must have snow? because when i look at the moon, it's yellow to white, not blue. unless your side of the moon is made of bleu cheese, a distinct possibility.
