Early

I'm jetlagging mildly, what a surprise. I woke at 4am, dozed until 6 when the heating came on (forced-air, as is typical in North America) and made me get up. It is still quite black-dark outside, favourite cousin's husband is awake but the rest of the family sleeps on. I think it's time for cappuccino.

Another day here, then tomorrow to Regina to my sister's for the party preparations.

Life is good.

Glad you are there and well. Beware the stampede.

I loathe forced air heating, wish it weren't so common here. Considering I grew up in a house with a coal furnace, which was also awful for lungs and sinuses.

Glad you made it, at least they let you fly. As for the forced air, yes, all the new houses out west at least. Back in the northeast I think hot water in little finned radiators is the in thing.
Keep warm anyway.
