Thought for the day

I hate these cookies. I hate the artificial-flavourings-and-preservatives taste (though they claim to be 37% chocolate), I hate the gritty texture that lingers on my tongue and teeth, I hate the effect of the sugar rush after eating them, I hate that I always eat at least half the package at once.

Why, then, do I continue to buy the damned things? Habit, suggestibility, a momentary lapse of reason?

I shall throw out the remaining four cookies.

Just put the cookies down, and back away slowly...

Love the fact that you are as suspectible to devouring a package of cookies as I am.

i don't know the snack cookies but i have tried the other ones - the apple pie cookies and the rainbow cookies.. the terribly artificial brownie cookies. none of them are very good. they simply do not understand how to make a decent chocolate chip cookie in this part of the world. i would be happy if someone would prove me wrong.

Cookies recipes: yes please!

Sass, that is probably the reason I am so dissatisfied with these Dutch cookies: they don't stand comparison to the real thing.
