La vita e bella
It's funny to see how strong an effect this good weather has on people. (It continues to be wonderful, blue sky and an expected high of 20°C; the forecast for the next three days is "more of the same.") Everyone is happy, peaceful, relaxed and calm (except for U and to a lesser extent G, of course, but that's another story). It's a delight to walk around downtown these mornings, greeting acquaintances and being smiled at by strangers.
On consideration, waking early and finding the sun already risen and the birds already singing is even better than waking early and waiting for the sun to rise.
Princess just called up to ask for help translating a typically convoluted sentence from her exhibition catalogue into formal English, and suggested that we organize a picnic for Sunday. Hurrah!
Updated a few minutes later: G just called to cancel our work date this afternoon, as usual on the shortest of notice. We'll meet for lunch on the Killesberg and I shall again take the long way home through the Rosenstein park. Double hurrah!!

The picnic is for you and the Princess alone?
Sounds idyllic. It is not a good time for me to pick nics myself, sadly.
May: no, it'll be a small group. Would you care to join us? :-)
Pacian: yes, it's always better to have others pick one's nits for one. They tend to gather in those hard-to-reach places.
