Solstice
I like to see stars in the morning; that this is possible without any particular effort is one of the reasons I love winter. The coffee is on, the sky is slowly turning blue in the east but is still starry-dark in the west. I'd be on the balcony blogging this were it not so cold (5°C, my sister is probably laughing and muttering "wimp").
Happy Solstice, everybody; and a happy last day of Hannukah to my Israeli and Portie readers.

Bon Hiver.
Lucky morgenmensch!
Nice. I always love your descriptions.
Okay, blogger word verification is obsessing over "Q"'s today. This is the fourth or fifth post I've commented on and every single one had at least one "Q". Perhaps I will have to do a post starting with the letter Q. It's a sign.
Oh the cold, don't get me started on the cold, I am freezing to death and long for central heating, this is demented. I need to be Jamaican!
And also, don't your Portie readers have a right to Hanukkah? No?

Happy er, cold, Udge!
Oh, the Lioness is back. It's been a long while since you've visited these shores, nice to see you again. Er, I'm sure that Porties can celebrate Hannukah too. I shall amend that forthwith. (But isn't it over as of sunset this evening?)
hi udge
the otto link is really nice
That is a nice part of winter - I love looking at the stars. Happy Soltice!
