That election

These are the results of a recent survey on a software support site I use regularly. This is a very small sample from a self-selecting group, so it probably won't scale well, but I found it very encouraging. (I apologise for the ragged layout, Blogger doesn't support <table> syntax, so I had to space it out by hand.)

U.S. Citizens
   John Kerry:     31 (54%)
   George Bush:  24 (42%)
   Someone else:  2 (4%)
Rest of world
   John Kerry:      33 (54%)
   George Bush:   10 (16%)
   Someone else: 18 (30%)

It's interesting that both groups give Kerry an absolute majority; it's significant that the rest of the world would vote against Bush by more than five to one.
