Late, tired

I've been going to bed late (well after midnight) since midweek, and am fighting now against a backlog of residual tiredness. It's because of the weather, you see: I can't face going to bed in the heat & humidity of 10pm. Fortunately, today was the solstice, so winter is once again on the approach. Hooray.

Today's Friday Favourite is another song that I first heard on the on-board radio on an ICE train, from this album. It's quite mellow, well suited to a hot and lazy summer night. Enjoy.

I am so excited we are on the downhill slide to winter.....alas, I'll have to trudge through many many 100+ degree days to get there. *sigh*

Dealing with 38C + here, but the dryness means it bakes, rather than boil/steams. Still want to stay out of the sun, but sleeping is more tolerable.
