The weekend starts here

A good day, and a better evening.

Spent the day crunching numbers, producing page after page of Excel to be marked up and recrunched. I enjoy this kind of work, which is just as well as none of my colleagues has the patience for it.

U. brought out a tray of Bellinis and salty green olives at 6pm (which is early for us to be quitting), we sat on the balcony and watched hot-air balloons drift past as the sun went down. The air was very clear today, although it hasn't rained; clear sky with just a few decorative clouds - and a new moon.

Very pleasant, why don't we do this more often?
